APD searching for robbery
suspect from Tuesday night

Ardmore police are looking for a suspect from an alleged robbery that took place Tuesday night.

Police say that around 10 p.m. Tuesday evening, officers responded to the 400 block of 7th street northwest where a woman told them a black male came into her home and robber her grandson at gunpoint.

The suspect is still unknown and authorities are investigating the incident.

Sherman, Denison police seize more than $4K in drugs

Sherman and Denison police seized more than $4,000 of narcotics from a home on Wednesday.

Representatives from both departments say they served a search warrant on a home in the 600 block of North Harrison in Sherman where they found 35 grams of crack, 8 grams of cocaine, prescription drugs and digital scales.

Patrick Benard Henderson Jr. was arrested and charged with manufacturing and delivery of a controlled substance. To make matters worse for the 23-year-old, his charges were upgraded because his home is located in a drug free zone.

He has been booked into the Grayson County Jail and has not been bonded out.

Man arrested for assaulting DPS trooper

A Pottsboro, Texas man has been arrested and charged with assault on a DPS trooper.

Authorities say John Epperson was arrested Tuesday after DPS says he left the scene of a crash. The assault happened after he was stopped by the trooper.

He is now accused of assault on a public servant and will also be charged for DWI and obstruction or retaliation.

No one was seriously injured in the incident.
