Love County man arrested for stealing from customers' storage units
The manager of a Love County storage facility was arrested on Wednesday when authorities say he was caught stealing from his customer’s units.
Love County Sheriff’s Deputies searched the storage units after receiving a tip from a customer earlier this week that items may have gone missing.
When Davis was arrested, they found stolen items at his home and even in some storage facilities that weren’t rented to anyone.
The owner of Marietta E-Z Storage said she was very unhappy with the incident. She intends to hire new staff and increase security on the business.
Sheriff Joe Rusell said he expects more charges to be filed and possibly even more arrests under warrants.
Davis is currently in Love County Jail.

One woman was detained at the car, but another man ran off before being caught and arrested.
Neither individual’s name was released.
